What a delightful stay! We are so glad we found this hotel as it made our last night in Sri Lanka an absolute pleasure. The building itself was designed by the owners and is both original and elegant. We had a lovely evening by the pool and were brought biscuits by the youngest daughter of the owners. We also had two utterly fabulous meals - we highly recommend the rice and curry!
Great hotel, we were very satisfied with our stay! I was especially pleased with the food - everything was very tasty, varied and of high quality. The room is modern, clean and very cozy, it's nice to stay and relax after a busy day. I would like to mention the pool separately - it's just cool, clean and great for relaxing. Special thanks to the hotel owner - she is very kind, attentive and hospitable. Thanks to her care, you feel at home. Overall, the atmosphere in the hotel is very warm and pleasant.
We stayed two nights at Mindara Villa in Unawatuna and really enjoyed our stay. The room was very beautiful, modern, and extremely clean – everything seemed quite new and very well maintained. The pool was also great and very clean. The accommodation is located a little outside the main area, which didn’t bother us at all since we had our own tuk-tuk. We were also able to park it easily inside the property. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were also very kind and helpful.
The staff were absolutely lovely! Kind, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The location is great, since it's only a short drive to Galle fort and the beaches (where we spent most of our time!). Though we didn't spend much time at the property it was nice to come back to cozy and clean rooms and bathrooms. Overall great experience!
